Welcome to "Samarth India Charitable Trust", where we are dedicated to championing the welfare and rights of animals, particularly pets.
Our mission is twofold:
First, to provide a safe haven and loving care
for animals in need, ensuring they receive proper medical attention, nourishment, and affection.
Second, we strive to foster a community of responsible pet ownership through education, outreach programs, and advocacy efforts. By promoting adoption, spaying and neutering, and humane treatment, we aim to create a world where every pet
is valued, cherished, and living their best life.
Join us in our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them.
In addition to our rescue and adoption efforts, we are committed to addressing the root causes of animal suffering through proactive initiatives. This includes educational programs designed to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the prevention of animal cruelty. By empowering individuals and communities with knowledge and resources, we aim to create a future where animals are valued members of society, free from harm and neglect. At सम EARTH, we believe that the bond between humans and animals is a sacred and transformative one. We invite you to join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of animals and the communities we serve. Whether through volunteering, donations, or spreading the word about our cause, together, we can build a world where every pet is cherished, every animal is protected, and every heart is filled with compassion.
Adopting street dogs, often referred to as mixed-breed or mongrel dogs, holds a special significance in the realm of pet adoption. Unlike adopting specific breeds or pedigrees, welcoming a street dog into your home not only provides a loving home for an animal in need but also contributes positively to the wider canine community. By choosing to adopt a street dog, individuals demonstrate their commitment to animal welfare and compassion for those often overlooked by society.
However, the preference for specific dog breeds over mixed-breed dogs has detrimental effects on both pets and their respective breeds. The demand for purebred dogs fuels the commercial breeding industry, perpetuating unethical practices such as overbreeding, inbreeding, and puppy mills. These practices not only compromise the health and well-being of the animals involved but also contribute to genetic disorders, behavioral issues, and overpopulation within certain breeds.
Furthermore, the emphasis on breed standards and appearances perpetuates unrealistic expectations and superficial judgments about what constitutes a "desirable" pet. This focus on aesthetics can overshadow the more important qualities of temperament, compatibility, and individual personality, leading to misconceptions and stereotypes about mixed-breed dogs.
By promoting the adoption of street dogs and advocating for mixed-breed pets, we can challenge these harmful attitudes and practices. Every dog, regardless of breed or pedigree, deserves a loving home and a chance to thrive. Embracing diversity in the pet population not only enriches our but also fosters a more inclusive and compassionate society for all animals.
